The FTA Sustainability National Contact Group (NCG) Sweden will take place on 10 October 2017 in Gothenberg, Sweden. FTA Sustainability NCGs are open to all FTA members, including ITP, BSCI and BEPI participants, along with companies that are interested in joining the association.
By attending the meeting, FTA members will contribute and gain core insights into:
- Knowledge and best practice sharing: Learn and share with peers about your experience in implementing the BSCI and/or BEPI system and engaging factories.
- Discuss latest updates on international trade and FTA sustainability work: get insight from the FTA secretariat about latest developments, including the Sustainability Dashboard and the new Commitment Formula.
- Share your input: Share your insights and needs, discuss your challenges and inform FTA about your feedback.
During this NCG, members will recieve an update on news from FTA, including its new branding under 'amfori', information about the new Chair 2018 and Swedish WG participation 2018. The meeting will also present the results of a research study on sustainability conducted by Prof. Niklas Egels Zandén, Göteborgs Universitet – Handels högskolan Göteborg, along with insight into modern slavery and transparency.
